About cypress oil:
Distilled from the twigs and foliage of the cypress tree, cypress essential oil is popularly used to ease breathing as well as a throat gargle. It can be used to ease tight, tense muscles, and used topically to support localized blood flow.
More on cypress oil:
Cypress is a versatile essential oil, with a very pleasing, woody fragrance. It's one of the oils my family turns to most often.
While one of aromatherapy's most-used essential oils for the support of the circulatory system, it has been used clinically for many other purposes. (See the Essential Oils Desk Reference for more information.)
How to use: Use topically, with a massaging action toward the center of the body. Apply under arms. Use as part of the RainDrop Technique. Diffuse, or add to food or rice milk as a dietary supplement. Mix with peppermint and lavender oils and apply over the heart, back of neck, bottoms of feet, on heart reflex points and pulse points to support healthy heart function.
Testimonial from a user:
My husband got charley horses in both legs, so I grabbed our cypress essential oil and rubbed it on his legs. He is now a firm believer in these oils!
